Friday Feast is an all-ages feeding program that was founded in 1996 by ROOTS’ first Executive Director Sinan Demirel.
Since its beginnings in the basement of University Baptist Church, Friday Feast has served more than 130,000 meals, never missing a week despite equipment failure, volunteer shortages, and occasional staff illness.
On Friday, April 1, 2016, Friday Feast marks its twentieth anniversary with a call to our community to come and join us. Regular 5:30PM to 7:00PM hours will be in operation and will include a brief speaking program.
